Basic Spill Kits Training

This training provides basic instruction on what to look for, how to safely respond  to minor oil and non-hazardous chemical spills within a workshop, factory, plant or external work area using the correct procedures, equipment and conventions.

We will discuss and provide a basic understanding of: 

  • Importance of a Safety Data Sheet (SDS) - what they contain;
  • The importance of pre-planning for a spill
  • How to control, contain and clean up a spill
