By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Identify and quantify maintenance requirements for plant, vehicles, and equipment at an extractive site.
  • Develop a comprehensive maintenance plan that meets operational, safety, legislative, and company requirements.
  • Allocate resources, schedule maintenance activities, and establish recording and reporting processes.
  • Implement and monitor maintenance plans to ensure compliance, productivity, and effective asset management.
  • Apply contingency measures to minimise operational disruptions caused by equipment breakdowns.
  • Review and evaluate maintenance plans, making recommendations for continuous improvement and enhanced operational performance.
